- one hundred women - one hour - ten thousand dollars - local impact -
TOGETHER, supporting community.
Who we are
100 Women Who Care Westshore was created because we know how much good can happen when women come together with one shared purpose: to support the people and organizations caring for our community every single day.
So many local charities are doing incredibly important work with limited resources. They are feeding families, supporting youth, helping seniors, protecting vulnerable people, offering comfort, creating connection, and filling gaps many people do not even realize exist until they need them.
Our members nominate local charities and non-profit organizations in advance of each event. In the weeks leading up to our meeting, three organizations are randomly selected from those nominations and invited to attend.
At the event, we gather for one hour in a warm, welcoming space filled with great people, meaningful stories, door prizes, and the kind of energy that reminds you how strong a community can be when people show up for one another.
Representatives from the three selected organizations are each given a few minutes to share who they are, what they do, and what a donation of $10,000+ could mean for the people they serve.
After hearing from all three charities, our members vote. The selected organization receives the full group donation that evening.
It is simple, direct, and powerful. Each woman gives individually, but together those gifts become something much bigger. Four times per year, we have the opportunity to place meaningful funding directly into the hands of local organizations doing the hard, necessary, heart-led work in our community.

nominate a CHarity
Once you have signed up to be a member, please nominate a charity! Don't be shy! But if you are, that's okay too. If your charity is drawn, and you do not wish to present a short (under 5 minute) speech describing what the charity is all about, another member will gladly do the reading.
